Printed 2025 card color misprints - tsloper_admin - 03-30-2025

As widely reported on social media, there are printing errors on the new 2025 card. One known error on the Standard card, and one known error on the Large card. There have been reports about two other errors, but these reports have not been corroborated.

2468 #4: the hand is printed in one color but the parenthetical says it's a 3-suit hand. In NMJL Online, the hand must be made in three suits (2468 in first suit, and the pungs of twos in the second and third suits). This error is on the Standard size card, not the Large card.

2468 #6: it has been reported that this hand contains 15 tiles on the Standard size card, but this report has not been corroborated (the printed card we received does not contain this error).
In NMJL Online, the hand can only be made in 14 tiles: 222 4444 666 in the first suit, and pairs of eights in the second and third suits.

Consecutive Run #3 (second iteration): on the Large card, the second iteration (to the right of the "or") is printed in one color but is supposed to be three suits.  In NMJL Online, the second iteration of the hand must be made in three suits (lowest number in green for the first suit, the middle number pair in red for the second suit, and the third number in blue for the third suit).

13579 #6: one person reported that this hand is printed in one color although the parenthetical says it's a 3-suit hand. In NMJL Online, the hand must be made in three suits (55 777 9999 in first suit, and the pairs of dragons in the second and third suits). It is not known whether this was observed on a Standard or Large size card, and this report has not been corroborated.

The National Mah Jongg League is aware of the printing errors, and is reprinting the cards, which are to be mailed "in a few weeks."
