Learn the Basics with our Tutorials - tsloper_admin - 02-19-2025
From the Login or Lobby screens, look for the big Tutorials button. In the Lobby, you'll find it in the bottom ribbon.
The Tutorials exist to serve two purposes: to teach the fundamentals of Mah Jongg, and to teach how to use the user interface of NMJL Online. For experienced players new to NMJL Online, you could probably just run through tutorials 2 and 4, but it's best to give all four a run-through. They're not that long.
There are four tutorials:
1. Welcome to Mah Jongg!
Learn about the tiles, the card, and the basics of taking a turn.
2. How to Play Mah Jongg!
Learn about calling discards, making exposures, and redeeming jokers.
3. The Charleston and the Card.
Learn about the Charleston and more about the card.
4. Death Challenges.
Learn about Death Challenges.
