In NMJL Online, each player begins with a 1,000-point "purse." Points are added to winners' scores and subtracted from non-winners' scores.
In the above example, Hal Bot has won a 30-point hand, by discard from the human player, Yvette.
Because the discarder pays double score, Yvette's score is reduced by 60 points. Alice Bot and Cindy Bot both pay 30 points to the winner.
Hal Bot's total earnings for this win is 120 (60+30+30), so that has been added to the base 1,000 points, thus Hal Bot's score is now 1,120.
Under Yvette's name: she paid out 60 (30x2), so now her purse shows 940 points.
The other two paid out 30 and now have 970 points.
If Yvette clicks on Play Again (buttons at upper right), she will continue playing with 940 points. Wins and losses are added to or subtracted from the player's score as per National Mah Jongg League rules until she exits the game with these three bots. The next time she plays a game in NMJL Online, her score will always begin at 1,000.
Scores are not carried over from session to session. Scores can go below zero.
