Set your General and Visual Preferences - Color, Tiles, Avatar, and More
#1
In the game's Settings, you can change your Avatar, your avatar frame, your avatar background, the overall color scheme, your preferred tile set, and other things.

You can enter the Settings from the Lobby or from the game table ("gear" icon at upper right). Select the General tab for general settings like visuals.

The first three settings at upper left let you make changes to your Avatar.
Of more interest in the overall scheme of things are the Tileset and Color Scheme buttons at the lower left corner.
There are four different Tile sets and nine different Color Schemes. You can mix and match your preferred tileset with your preferred color scheme.

Here are the different Tile sets on a variety of Color Schemes: First, the Bakelite tileset on the Lavender color scheme:

Next, the Creme tile set on the Seafoam color scheme:

Next, the Chinese tile set on the Sky color scheme:

Our Big Numbers tile set is designed to be easy to read. Here we see it on the Pink color scheme:

Here we see the Creme tile set, this time on the Peach color scheme:

There are also darker color schemes, to enhance contrast and readability. There are nine choices:
  • Lavender
  • Pink
  • Seafoam
  • Sky
  • Peach
  • Amethyst
  • Burgundy
  • Forest
  • Cobalt

On the right side of the General Settings, there are additional option settings:

Name: you can change the name displayed to your opponents. Just type your desired display name in the box. If you change your display name during a game, the change won't be reflected until after you exit the game table.

Choose Replacement Bot: If you become disconnected from the game, a bot will take your place until you return. You can choose which bot type will play in your place.
The different Bots are:
  • Beginner:  Does not consider multiple hand options; eager to make exposures; moves seem random.
  • Advanced:  Tries to play as well as possible.
  • Cagey:  Prefers not to expose jokers.
  • HighScorer:  Prefers to make hands worth more than 25 points.
  • Open: Avoids Concealed hands.
  • Gardener:  Prefers to make hands with flowers; is more reluctant to discard flowers.
  • Defensive: Pays close attention to others' exposures so as not to throw a win.
Chat Profanity Filter: Lets you see chats without any offending words.

Auto pass: If Auto Pass is Off, every time someone other than yourself discards a tile, you have time to look at the tile, whether or not you can legally claim it. You have to manually Pass on a discard each time. But when Auto Pass is On, the game will only stop on a discard that you can legally claim (you have identical tiles or jokers with which you could make an exposure).

Password: You can change your password here. Make sure you make a note of your new password! The Remember Me feature on the Login screen might not know that you changed it, so do type it in on the Login screen the first time after changing your password.
